The IT management software Single Sign-on module provides basic single sign-on capabilities linked to Active Directory. Included are module linkages for the applications listed below:
- Oracle Finances
- Active Directory
Additional linkages can be provided for virtually any application within the service desk software at an additional fee per application. The Single Sign-on function is built into the system. Each application is identified and access is granted and controlled by the corresponding manager. Purchase level of approval and authority is also tracked and managed. Username and passwords are assigned and maintained within this module. Periodically, based on predetermined policy, passwords are updated and an automated process is executed requesting the user to update their password.
User self-help desk support is available should a password or user account be forgotten.
Password policies are enforced based on format mapping set by the customer, including corporate password policy management.
